Things to do

Windsurfing:
Aruba Rent a Villa has a close connection with Aruba Active Vacations. Aruba Active Vacations is strategically located on a natural point at the Fishermen’s Huts. We are just north of Vela and south of Sailboard Vacations, giving us the only unobstructed and sandy launch site in Aruba. The center is a surf camp set-up with board and sail storage right on the beach, 10 steps from the water. Large canopied awnings shade loung chairs and tables. The shop offers cold drinks as well as necessities such as sun screen, gloves, booties, T-shirts, hats, lycra tops, etc. There’s a fresh-water shower for rinsing off after a day’s sailing.

Mountainbiking:
Since Aruba Rent a Villa is located at the northern end of the island, mountainbiking is an excellent passtime. This is an excisting way to see Aruba while exercising at the same time. Mountainbikes can be rented at Aruba Active Vacations (297- 5860989
or info@aruba-active-vacations.com) for $ 20 a day or $ 100 per week.
Horse HorsebackRiding:
Ride horseback through Aruba’s natural wonders and enjoy breathtaking sights on the way to the California Lighthouse, Alto Vista Chapel, or the Malmok Beach Stretch. You’ll view with excitement the lava rock formations, or cacti dating back hundreds of years, or the everchanging north coastline with waves crashing wildly onto the rocky shore. Also daily private & semi-private trail rides to the breathtaking Natural Pool are available.
Golf at Tierra del Sol:
Tierra del Sol, at the island’s northwest tip, is Aruba’s first world-class golf course. The 18-hole, par-71 course was designed by Robert Trent Jones II to take full advantage of its rugged natural surroundings. The course manages to pair peerless course design with a celebration of Aruba’s wildlife.
